The Tech Conspiracy I Accidentally Stumbled Upon

Fellow Windows users, beware.

Got unsolvably slow Internet?

Tested your browser?

Run the diagnostics more times than you can count?

Spent hours Googling fixes?

Called your ISP company multiple times?

Done more computer fixes, deep cleans & RAM boosts than you can count?

I present to the committee a rather controversial solution.

Disable AdBlocker and it will solve all of your issues.

I have been working on fixes since I inherited this computer 8 months ago. Talk about having a problem child. Pages didn’t load forever. The whole Internet world slowed to a crawl (which is even worse when you live out in rural Idaho. I know, first world problems.)

Naturally, all this pointless, wasted, frustrated time rubbed me raw. So I turned to Google to soothe my weary soul.

Until I landed on this Business Insider Article which inflamed my anger again.

A Twitter war even sprung up as the ad execs defended themselves, blaming publishers for slow load times.

Obviously, there is a lot to lose on both sides.

And I’m not jumping into this.

However, the fact remains: with AdBlocker, my Chrome browser barely loads pages and sometimes not at all. Without AdBlocker, not a damn problem even on the rural Internet.

Wishing you happy tech usage! ;)
